A dated clip of South African YouTuber Penuel The Black Pen — real name Penuel Lungelo Mlotshwa — weighing in on Enhle Mbali and Black Coffee’s split has resurfaced online. This after Enhle revealed how much child maintenance Black Coffee pays her. The star surprisingly shared with curious fans that she gets R50 000 from the Grammy Award-winning DJ.

The news was met with mixed reactions from social media users who argued whether or not Coffee could afford to give a lot more or not.

One person who doesn’t believe that he should be giving anything at all is controversial Podcaster Penuel — or at least that what he says in the now viral video.

Many locals have been buzzing over how much child support local actress Enhle Mbali receives from her ex-husband Black Coffee — real name Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo.

This is why the amount came as a bit of a surprise from social media users who thought that he could probably afford to pay more.

Others however said that R50k was a fair amount.

“That’s why I don’t want any baby mama drama in my life. R50K is too much; she will not work for her whole life, and she will be partying with my child’s money. Never,” one person said.

Penuel weighs in

A 2021 video of Penuel sharing his thoughts about Enhle getting money from Black Coffee has since resurfaced online.

In the clip, he argues that she shouldn’t be getting any money from the artist but should go for therapy and get to work for her own money.

“I suggest Enhle & women like her get therapy, get help, move on. We are no longer married, I shouldn’t be taking care of you,” he says.
