South African rapper Nasty C is trending on X, formerly Twitter, after his post about getting recognised by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs resurfaced.
P Diddy has been making all sorts of headlines in the last few days after Federal agents with the US Homeland Security raided two of his houses against the backdrop of a string of accusations levelled against him.

However, the Department of Homeland Security has not named Diddy as the focus of the investigation. Against P Diddy’s woes, South Africans poked fun at Nasty C as they flooded to his X post about P Diddy from 2016.
The rapper took it to X to share his joy after noticing P Diddy was following him on Instagram. Taking it to X, he posted, “I just saw that Diddy follows me on IG. Crazy.” Against the post, Mzansi quickly gave him a nod as he went on to drop a smash album, ‘Bad Hair’, that thrust him into the limelight.

Years later, Mzansi is singing from a different hymnal, seemingly taking a swipe at the celebrated music mogul and producer. X users were more than convinced that Nasty C was lucky enough not to be a victim.
An X user @krugersville posted, “Not my GOAT. He was almost a victim.” Another user commented, “Diddy was scouting young talent.” However, another user posted, “Not my GOAT. And he was only 17 that time.”
P Diddy is also being accused of abuse, and those who have close ties with him have been trending on social media.
Back home, Black Coffee is one of the celebrities who have trended against the backdrop of P Diddy’s woes. However, the Grammy Award winner has often shared his experiences at some of P Diddy’s ‘wild parties.’ DJ Coffee once revealed that he performed at one of the rapper’s VIP parties at his Miami home in 2017.
The DJ is also trending after reportedly blocking one of his followers after being asked about his relationship with the troubled music producer.
A STRING OF ALLEGATIONS
On 16 November 2023, his former partner, dancer and R&B star Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, filed a lawsuit against the Bad Boy Records owner. The lawsuit included a string of allegations. Combs settled the lawsuit with an undisclosed amount of money.
On 26 February 2024, Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones also filed a lawsuit against P Diddy. The two worked together before having a fallout. Joie Dickerson-Neal and several women have also filed lawsuits against Combs, accusing him of abuse.
However, on 25 March 2024, Federal agents with US Homeland Security raided his two houses while he was away. However, his legal team has since shed light on the raids.
