Marise Pollard, the pregnant wife of Springbok star Handre Pollard, has revealed her impending due date.
The bombshell beauty and the rugby player are based in the UK, where Handre plays for the Leicester Tigers.
MARISE POLLARD SHARES PREGNANCY UPDATE
In an Instagram Story, Marise Pollard – who is in her final trimester – gave her followers a look at her growing baby bump.
She captioned the image: “Hello, April. I can’t believe we are meeting our boy this month”.
She added: “Beyond grateful, beyond excited.”
Marise announced her pregnancy just a week after the Springboks lifted the Rugby World Cup for the second time in 2023. This came shortly after fellow Springbok Eben Etzebeth and wife Anlia also announced their pregnancy.
Anlia has since given birth to a baby girl in February. Another World-Cup winning bok, Faf de Klerk and his wife Mine, also recently welcomed a baby girl.
Late last year, Marise visited her family in South Africa for a few weeks. During her stay in Hermanus, the brunette also celebrated her baby shower with close friends and family.
A few weeks later, the model and her husband celebrated their babymoon in Dubai together. The couple live in Market Harborough in the UK, where Handre plays club rugby for the Leicester Tigers.
BABY’S FIRST 3D SCAN
In February, Marise Pollard, shared a peek at her baby’s 3D scan via her Instagram Story.
But getting it itself was quite the mission, according to the Springbok WAG.
She posted: “Went for a scan, but he was hiding. So went for a little run and ate a brownie. Went back and he gave us a little smile”.
She added in Afrikaans: “Wat ‘n voorreg. Dankie Jesus [What a privilege, thank you Jesus]”.
PEEK INTO BABY POLLARD’S NURSERY
It’s clear Marise Pollard has entered pregnancy’s nesting stage as she shared a look at her baby boy’s nursery.
Like the rest of their double-story face brick home, the nursery boasts a white, black, and neutral colour palette with subtle decor, no doubt curated by the social media influencer.
In 2022, Handre Pollard made the trek to the UK, signing a R14 million a year contract with Leicester Tigers.
According to MailOnline, Handre revealed his dream was always to play in England.
He told the publication: “I wanted to come here three years ago, but there wasn’t really the opportunity, so I had to go elsewhere”.
He added: “My wife has been here for a few months now, and she has sorted out the house. I missed all the heavy lifting and the building of the cupboards. That’s been great!”
