‘Don’t involve me’: Londie London confirms split from Mabonga after shooting

Musician and former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star, Londie London has confirmed that she is no longer in a relationship with businessman Sphamandla Mabonga.

The Suk’Emabhozeni hitmaker – real name Londiwe Zulu – was responding to reports about the entrepreneur’s hospitalisation, following a shooting at a club in Sandton on Friday, when she told social media users not to “involve” her.

CLUB SHOOTOUT

According to Sunday World, Mabonga was shot in the ribs at Tempo nightclub in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The businessman – who is also rumoured to be the ex-fiancée of new RHOD cast member, Ameigh Thompson – was reportedly involved in an altercation with another patron when the shooting occurred.

A source told the publication that the shooting started outside after Mabonga left the club to fetch his gun. However, some gunshots are said to have entered the club and injured the receptionist.

Mabonga is receiving treatment at Mediclinic Morningside.

‘WE BROKE UP’: LONDIE LONDON

When Sunday World called Londie for a comment, the singer revealed that she and Mabonga had broken up.

“Please don’t ask me anything about that guy. We broke up. Don’t ask me when. Call him for all your questions,” she said.

Londie – who shares two children with her ex-fiance and businessman Hlubi Nkosi – again told X users that Mabonga is her ex.

“Ex-boyfriend. Please don’t involve me,” Londie wrote.

In another post, she said: “Not my boyfriend, please guys. Ex! Ex, guys.”
