‘Already a winner’: SA praises David Teeger for passing matric
South Africans this week congratulated former U-19 captain, David Teeger for passing his matric with flying colours at King Edward VII.

South Africans took to social media on Friday, 19 January to praise teen cricket player David Teeger for passing his matric with flying colours.

Cricket fans congratulated the former South Africa U-19 captain, David Teeger after the school, King Edward VII announced its 100% matric pass rate in 2023.

DAVID TEEGER: PASSED MATRIC
King Edward VII revealed in an X post on Friday that the school, where David Teeger was head boy, received a 100% pass rate in the 2023 matric results.
“We are thrilled to announce that @KingEdVIISchool has achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate in 2023 Matric results! To our incredible boys, teachers, & supportive parents – this achievement is a testament to your hard work, resilience, and unwavering commitment to education.”
