Marise Pollard – the wife of Springbok and Leicester Tigers player Handre Pollard – has fuelled rumours she is expecting a baby boy.
This, after she posted pictures of her royal blue baby shower on her Instagram account.
Marise and Handre announced news of their first pregnancy after the Boks won their second consecutive Rugby World Cup in November 2023.
The couple live in the UK, where Handre plays club rugby.

A BOY FOR MARISE AND HANDRE?
On her Instagram Stories, Marise Pollard gave her followers a glimpse at her stylish baby shower, which took place over the weekend in the Brookdale Estate in Paarl, Western Cape.
Attended by Springbok WAGS Ingrid Malherbe and Holly Clare Nichol, the picture shower featured a blue and yellow theme colour. And many believe the colours are a hint that the striking couple is expecting a baby boy.

“Great food, amazing people, and a glowing mother-to-be,” Holly posted on her own IG account. The captioned was accompanied by a blue heart emoji.
In the pics, Marise – who recently returned to South Africa – wore a blue and white summer dress, which showed off her baby bump.
“Are you expecting a baby boy?” asked a follower in the comment section.

WILL BABY POLLARD BE BORN IN SA?
With most baby showers taking place in the late final trimester, it may very well be possible that Marise plans to give birth to her baby in her home country.
The beautiful brunette travelled to SA from her home in Market Harborough earlier this month to spend time with her family, who live in the Western Cape.

It’s widely known that pregnant women are advised to stop flying after 36 weeks for domestic travel and after 28 to 35 weeks for international travel.
Meanwhile, Handre continues to play for the Leicester Tigers, whom he helped secure a win against SA’s Stormers at the former’s home ground in the UK.
