The 42-year-old actress was born in Pretoria and doubles as a writer and director. No doubt her illustrious career spans years. In 2006, she starred in Hard Copy. Two years later, she joined the Wild at Heart cast. In 2009, she played the character of Violet in The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency.
During the same year, she had her shot at fame when she starred in Attack on Darfur. She also starred in 90 Plein Street, The Mating Game, Binnelanders and Hartland. In 2011, Maggie Benedict joined Generations as Akhona.
