‘Class is permanent’ – Fans thrilled with Khune’s heroics during All Stars match

Reports have it that Itumeleng Khune is set to resume training in the backdrop of his heroics during the All-Stars match.

Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune is topping trends in the backdrop of the Carling Black Label All-Stars match.

Despite being suspended at Chiefs, Khune was cleared to play in the All-Stars match and pulled a show.

FANS THRILLED WITH KHUNE’S HEROICS

His heroics have since thrust him to the top trends. During the match, he pulled off some stunning saves that earned him a man of the match award. The award saw him going back home R100 000 richer. However, he reportedly earned a whooping R85000 from winning bonuses.

Against the trends, fans flooded social media with their two cents. Some were more than impressed with Khune’s heroics during the All Stars match. Others seemed to take a swipe at the star for not considering retirement.

POSSIBLE KAIZER CHIEFS RETURN

His heroics have since implicated his possible return to Kaizer Chiefs. When will Itumeleng Khune join the rest of the squad? Rumour mill has it that Khune will reportedly return to action for the Glamour Boys when they return to training next week.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Cavin Johnson recently confirmed that he will be giving his squad 10-12 days of rest following their final match of 2023. However, with the Glamour Boys set to return to training later next week, reports suggest suspended goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune will return to training for the club!
