Grammy Award winner Nkosinathi Maphumulo, also known as DJ Black Coffee took to Instagram on Friday, 8 March and happily revealed how many gigs he has secured this month.

‘WE DANCE AGAIN’: DJ BLACK COFFEE REVEALS HIS MARCH BOOKINGS

After being involved in a travel accident, DJ Black Coffee is seemingly back at work. Last month, the famous disc jockey revealed in a statement that he had suffered injuries after being involved in a travel accident on his way to one of his gigs.

“Black Coffee was involved in a severe travel accident on a flight en route to his scheduled show in Mar Del Plata. The incident resulted in unforeseen complications and left him with some injuries,” the statement read.

In an interview with Kaya FM’s Thabo ‘Tbose’ Mokwele, DJ Black Coffee opened up about the incident. The renowned disc jockey shared that he had a five-hour surgery on his upper spinal cord following the incident.

“I had to have metal embedded in it. Now I am half man, half machine,” IOL quoted the Superman hitmaker as saying.

The 47-year-old DJ has recently showed off his March schedule on social media.

“We dance again🙏🏿❤️ Can’t wait to be back with you all in my happy place,” he captioned.

In the post, it can be seen that the Drive hitmaker has secured seven gigs for the month of March. His first gig will be on 20 March and his last one this month will be on the 31st.

Celebrity Talent International previously reported that Black Coffee charged between $150 000 (an estimated R2.7 million) to $300 000 (R5.5 million) per gig. Assuming that all his gigs are under the R5.5 million plan, that would mean, for just March alone, Black Coffee will make a whopping R38.5 million.

However, assuming that all his gigs fall into the R2.7 million booking fee, that would mean, just for this month alone, the disc jockey will take home about R18.9 million.

Black Coffee’s friends and fans on Instagram were happy to see that he has returned to work following his surgery.
