Amapiano sensation Young Stunna, real name Sandile Msimango, has received backlash on social media for his gesture towards his adoring fans.

YOUNG STUNNA THROWS MONEY AT FANS

In a video shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Adiwele hitmaker can be seen blessing his fans with money from the sunroof of his car.

While fans on either side of the vehicle are screaming in excitement and are happy to be getting money from the award-winning vocalist, social media users were not impressed.

“I really want this boy to stay focused and remain humble because he’s really talented and he can go really far at a young age.”

“This boy is talented and lies a great future ahead of him, he must stop this nonsense.”

“10 years from now , we will be shown his account number to “donate””.

ORGANISER PUTS ARTIST ON BLAST

In November last year, Young Stunna made headlines for all the wrong reasons. The 26-year-old was slammed by the owners of Underground Pub in kwaBhaca, previously known as Mount Frere, for leaving without performing.

According to Sunday World, the co-owner of the establishment described the Sengizwile hitmaker as arrogant, saying he failed to honour his booking commitment after he allegedly refused to share a table with an artist from the Eastern Cape. The amapiano star reportedly complained about the mud, saying he did not want his expensive sneakers to get dirty.

“He said he cannot walk with his expensive sneaker on the mud and refused to share a table with another artist,” Lwazi Nodada, club co-owner said.

“When we booked him, we agreed that he was going to land at King Phalo Airport in East London, be driven to kwaBhaca where he was going to perform and go back to Mthatha where we had booked his accommodation,” Nodada continued.

Young Stunna, however, allegedly missed his flight and landed in Durban, where he demanded to be driven in a Mercedes-Benz V-Class.

“These all meant we were spending extra on him, on top of the R60 000 booking fee that we paid upfront

“All we want is our money back, we will never work with him again. He is very disrespectful, arrogant and big-headed.”
