‘Beautiful children and family’: Sharks’ Marco Masotti to Rachel and Siya Kolisi  

Sharks’ owner Marco Masotti recently hung out with Springboks’ Siya, his wife, Rachel Kolisi and their children in Madison Square Garden.

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, his wife, Rachel and their children family took a trip to Madison Square and mingled with Sharks owner Marco Masotti.

MARCO MASOTTI: ‘BEAUTIFUL FAMILY’

Sharks owner Marco Masotti, who is based in the US took to his Instagram account on Monday, 13 November to compliment Siya and Rachel Kolisi’s family after their interaction.

Masotti shared a photo with the Kolisis and some of his family members, Alexander and Michel Masotti and captioned it: “Beautiful children and family.”

IOL reported in January 2021 that 54-year-old Masotti, who was raised in Amanzimtoti and moved to the US to further his legal career in the 1990s, bought the controlling interest (51%) in the Sharks franchise.

Speaking from his New York base, Masotti told the publication at the time that the Sharks investment was special because “they are my team”. He also views the investment as an opportunity to give back to the local game.

RACHEL AND SIYA KOLISI: TRIP TO NEW YORK

Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, his wife Rachel, and their children, Nicholas and Keziah are having a blast in Madison Square Garden as seen in Instagram stories on Monday, 13 November.

Both Siya and Rachel have shared photos numerous photos of their kids watching basketball games and ice skating.

“A day well spent at @thegarden ! We went to watch an NBA game, and only a few hours later went back into the same venue to watch an ice-hockey game! Amazing how fast it’s all transformed! Thank you so much @marcomasotti_ for the most incredible day! ❤️,” she wrote.

“We’re all struggling with a good dose of jet lag! But the kids have really been such champs,” she added.

The Springboks first lady, Rachel also revealed a weekend ago that they were in South Africa for her brother, Joel Smith’s wedding, who married Olympic swimmer Tatjana Shoenmaker.
