Like many Springbok WAGS, Pieter-Steph du Toit’s wife Willemien has been holding him down from before his rugby fame.
The couple celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary with a throwback montage of their romance, which dates back to their teens.

A week ago, Springbok lock Pieter Steph du Toit and his wife Willemien celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary.
The couple tied the knot in 2015 at the Bakenhof Estate in Paarl.

However, the couple first met whilst in grade 8 at Hoërskool Swartland in Malmesbury. According to The Guardian, their friendship would turn romantic when they crossed paths again in 2012.
“The heart of the family,” PTSD said of his physiotherapist wife in a sweet post.
Willemien celebrated the occasion with a video montage of their romance, which has spanned almost two decades.
“So young. EST.2008”, she shared.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Pieter-Steph du Toit may return to his old club of the Stormers.
The star player signed to Toyota Verblitz in Japan last year but is reportedly already eyeing a move back home.
Du Toit told Rugby World of his time abroad: “The style of rugby is different. What you lose in terms of those big hits, you gain in terms of speed. My fitness has gone to the next level since I’ve been here.
“There’s the added advantage of less travel time, which benefits the guys who want to be closer to their families. All in all, there’s less stress.”
