Bernard Parker had a successful operation after breaking his leg in a gut-wrenching tackle by Mamelodi Sundowns’ Bongani Zungu in the Carling Knockout. His workout routines have shrugged off fears that he could be forced into retirement.

However, it seems his return might be earlier than we thought, and the star is putting all the effort into making the much-awaited return to the field. When will Bernard Parker return to action?

In November 2023, he gave an update on his return, but fans have been left convinced that it might be earlier than expected after his recent Instagram post.

However, despite his injury, he seemingly revealed when he will return. Parker said, “Realistically, according to the doctors view, and also the sports science view that, it’s up to myself, how quick I can get back but they predicted that I will back February, maybe late as March,” he stated, as quoted by iDiski Times.

“But it’ll all depend on me how seriously I am taking my recovery, which I am. And I hope to be to be back around the time, or maybe sooner,” he added.

The TS Galaxy star puzzled fans when he dropped another update in a now-viral video. Taking to Instagram, Parker shared a video of him throwing away his walking crutches, and Mzansi was more than convinced that he was no longer using them.

The video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet. Mzansi has since flooded his comments section with their two cents.

In the now-viral video, Bernard Parker was seen at his residence walking with crutches before throwing them away and running with all smiles. Recently, He has shared several videos of his physio sessions on social media. No doubt, the sessions have managed to keep him sharp and fit.

According to medical sources, physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when an injury affects someone. However, it also helps to reduce the risk of injury in the future.
