Bafana Bafana fans asked for Mama Joy to get replaced with a beautiful Cape Verde woman after the game or a hot South African lady.
Cape Verde female supporters stole the spotlight on X after the cameramen continuously showcased their reactions during the game.
947 radio personality @moflavadj also revealed: “Cape Verde is killing us…with the beautiful women.”
A Bafana fan @adjusted_243 responded: “Who appointed Mama Joy as our defender on this Cape Verde hunnies?”
@LondiweLndw defended Mama Joy and wrote: “MamaJoy is fine, and she prays too, otherwise our boys will be distracted.”
SABC Sports reports that Joy ‘Mama Joy’ Chauke kickstarted her spectator career more than 30 years ago as South Africa’s most famous and diehard sports fan.
