SA reacts as Babes Wodumo set to perform at EFF manifesto

South African musician Babes Wodumo is working hard to get back to her former glory and it’s been interesting to watch. The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) just announced that the star is one of many artists who have agreed to play at their upcoming manifesto at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) on Saturday 10 February.

Heading online, the party shared the news which received mixed reactions from social media users who either congratulated her on the new gig or shamed the EFF for choosing her.

Babes Wodumo to perform at EFF manifesto

Babes Wodumo is one of many talented South African musicians. Unfortunately, her troubled personal life has often overshadowed her talent.

This year appears to have started off on a more positive note for the self-proclaimed gqom queen.

Not only is she back on social media and out and about with friends – she is also back on stage and booking performances again.

In fact, on Saturday this week, the singer is set to perform at the EFF manifesto in KZN. Taking to X, the political party announced the news:

“Guess What!? You can come watch Babes Wodumo perform at the #EFFManifestoLaunch at Moses Mabhida on the 10th of February 2024. You Do Not Want To Miss It!” reads a poster with Babes’ face on it.
