Lekau Sehoana says MacG is on his way to billionaire status

South African podcaster Macgyver Mukwevho — known famously as MacG — is doing big things in the SA podcast industry. Just a few short weeks ago, he celebrated his podcast, Podcast and Chill, reaching 1 million subscribers on YouTube. Over the years the podcast has grown exponentially and continues to gain new fans daily.
Because of this, local entrepreneur and Drip Footwear founder Lekau Sehoana believes that he will soon be a billionaire. His comments were met with mixed reactions from locals who shared their thoughts.

He’ll be a billionaire soon: Lekau Sehoana sings MacG’s praises
MacG is one of the country’s biggest podcasters and everyone knows that.
The Podcast and Chill founder built the podcast from the ground up and has given us mind-blowing episodes with some of the biggest stars in the country.
He recently also celebrated reaching 1 million subscribers on YouTube where he rakes in thousands of rands daily for all of his views.

It is for this reason that Lekau Sehoana believes that he may soon be reaching billionaire status. Taking to Twitter, Lekau posted that MacG will be SA’s next billionaire and we won’t even know it.
“MacG is going to become a Billionaire soon. And the most important part is, people won’t even know. That guy works,” he wrote.

SA has mixed reactions
While many joined Lekau in praising MacG, others thought that he may have been reaching a little. Here are some of their comments:
“MacG and Sol still brand themselves as poor okes yet they both earning more than R200,000 monthly these days. Psychology of how to win over black people in Africa. Comedians in Zambia do it too,” one person said.
Another added, “If he doesn’t want people to know why are you letting us know.. you’re a great businessman but you like fame way too much.”
