Kelly Khumalo has been making headlines amid the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.

New cellphone data produced before the courts in recent court sittings has complicated the case, with several event organisers dumping the celebrated musician on their lineups.

Kelly Khumalo has been dropped from two gigs in a week, with Maseru Jazz Festival being the latest.

In a statement, the Maseru Jazz Festival dropped Kelly Khumalo after being implicated in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case.

Her cancellation comes barely a few days after being dropped from the all-star lineup of the ‘A Tribute To Women’ festival.

However, in the backdrop of her cancellation, she has seemingly taken to social media to clap back at those who have been vocal about her cancellation.

She took to Instagram to share a few gigs she is to headline.

On the other hand, she has shared a series of videos seemingly taking a swipe at her alleged woes.

In a now-viral video, the star singer thanked her fans for being there for her. She also turned to God and shared a little motivation.

In the backdrop of the video, several celebrities flooded her social media with some comforting comments. The video has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped.

Khumalo was linked to the accused five during the recent court sittings. The court heard that she was in contact with the accused five weeks before Senzo was shot in 2014.
