Kate Moss is said to have thrown herself into training to become a tattoo artist so she can ink her friends when she attends Glastonbury music festival, her friend and tattooist Daniel Casone has revealed.

Kate Moss dreams of Glastonbury ‘inking fest’

“She said she wanted to learn tattooing from me so we can go to Glastonbury to tattoo people,” Daniel told the Sunday Mirror.

“She called me to go up and tattoo her and she ended up tattooing me as well, she gave me a ‘Kate’ and a love heart on my arm.”

Kate Moss ‘doesn’t really know’ what she is doing

Kate has been busy practising her newly acquired skills on Daniel, who has etched several designs on the star in the past, and although the tattoo artist admitted it has been “painful” for him, he was still willing to let her have a go.

Daniel revealed Kate “didn’t really know” what she was doing, adding, “It was quite painful because they didn’t know what to do and they went quite deep but I thought you know what, I don’t mind.”

Model sports seven tattoos, boasts about ‘Freud inking’

Kate, who has seven tattoos of her own, got to know Daniel after visiting his shop in Highgate, London near her home and the pair are said to have known each other for several years.

The 47-year-old model clearly has great faith in Daniel’s artistic skills as she even trusted him to touch up the famous swallow tattoo on her lower back, a design originally created by the late British artist Lucian Freud.

Kate previously said of her Freud inking: “I mean, it’s an original Freud. I wonder how much a collector would pay for that? A few million?”
