Former President Donald Trump launched his sneaker line, which reportedly sold out. The launch came barely a day after the courts of law fined him $354.9 million for fraud.

The sneakers have been making all sorts of headlines, from their unique design to their price tag.

Speaking at the launch of the sneaker line at Sneaker Con in Philadephia, the former US president said, “I’ve wanted to do this a long time.”

Photos of the sneakers have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they dropped on the internet. The gold sneakers have an American flag on the back.

It is of interest that they were being sold as ‘Never Surrender High-Tops sneakers.’ However, despite selling at $399, which amounts to R7 500, the rumoured 1 000 pairs sold out within the day.

The website selling Donald Trump’s sneakers also sells Trump-branded Victory 47 cologne and perfumes priced at $99. Confirmed reports have it that several individuals have since listed the shoes on several online stores.

Some of Donald Trump’s sneakers are already selling for $7.500 on eBay. However, the sneakers are not designed, manufactured, or distributed by Donald J. Trump, The Trump Organisation, or any of their respective affiliates or principals.”

WHERE TO BUY?

A new website announced by Trump at Sneaker Con, gettrumpsneakers.com, is selling the new sneakers. For now, the sneakers are available for pre-order. However, the sneakers are unavailable on sneaker resale sites StockX or GOAT.

Apart from the sold sneakers, Donald Trump also has two other sneakers on the website. According to the website, two versions of the sneakers are also available. The two versions have a “T” and “45” on the sides, and they sell for $199.

The sneakers have set social media abuzz as the world tries to connect the dots about Donald Trump’s trending gold sneakers.
