Vanessa Bryant has paid tribute to her late husband, Kobe Bryant, and her daughter, Gianna Bryant, on the fourth anniversary of their fatal helicopter crash, on Friday, 26 January.

VANESSA BRYANT PAYS TRIBUTE TO KOBE AND GIANNA
In an Instagram post, Vanessa Bryant shared a heartwarming photograph of her late husband, Kobe smiling with his arm wrapped around their daughter Gianna.
Together with the image shared, Vanessa captioned the post with two red heart emoji’s, “❤️❤️”.
The same photo was shared to the basketball team, Los Angeles Lakers Instagram account with the caption, “Forever 💜”.
According to People magazine, on the morning of 26 January 2020, Kobe, his daughter Gianna, and seven of their friends boarded a helicopter from John Wayne Airport in Orange County to a basketball tournament in Thousand Oaks.
The helicopter crashed into a Calabasas hillside which was reportedly due to pilot error, as a yearlong National Transportation Safety Board investigation found.
At the time of the accident, Kobe was 41 years old, and Gianna was 13 years old.

‘IT STILL DOESN’T SEEM REAL’
On the first anniversary of their death, Vanessa shared a sweet, touching letter from one of Gianna’s best friends, Audrey.
“Today I received this sweet letter from one of Gianna’s best friends, Aubrey. I love you Aubz (as my Gigi would call you). Thank you so much for beautifully sharing some of your memories of my Gigi with me and allowing me to share them here on my IG”, Vanessa shared in the caption of her post.
Vanessa Bryant continued: “My Gigi is INCREDIBLE and I truly appreciate your thoughtful letter. She loves you so much. I miss my baby girl and Kob-Kob so much, too”.
She further shared how she doesn’t know why this tragedy happened to “such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings”.
“I will never understand why/how this tragedy could’ve happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings. It still doesn’t seem real. Kob, we did it right. Gigi, you still make mommy proud. I love you!”, the mother of four explained.
