In a surprising twist, rock legend Rod Stewart has once again adjusted the asking price for his sprawling Beverly Hills mansion, signalling a potential change in the wind for the British singer’s lifestyle.

ROD STEWART LOWERS THE ASKING PRICE

Initially listed at $70 million (R1,330,689,920.00) in June, Stewart hiked the price by $10 million (R189,743,990.00) when he re-listed the 38,500-square-foot estate with Compass’s Tomer Fridman in December according to People.

However, the latest update as of 14 February reveals a reduction in the asking price to $74 million (R1,409,603,356).

ROD STEWART’S L.A. MANSION

Stewart, 79, has called this luxurious property home for over three decades. He has raised his family within its opulent walls.

Designed by celebrity-favourite architect Richard Landry in the 1990s, the mansion boasts extravagant amenities. These include a soccer field, motor court, and an impressive pool.

A picturesque fountain welcomes visitors, setting the tone for the ornate Old World design found within. The first floor features a great room, tea room, and den, complete with several wood-burning fireplaces.

ROD STEWART’S HOME MEMORIES

Despite reports hinting at a toxic relationship with Los Angeles, Stewart clarified in a previous interview that he holds fond memories of the city where he spent many years.

The decision to part with his beloved mansion comes as Stewart plans to establish a more permanent residence in England. He plans to move after concluding his world tour and Las Vegas residency in November.

MAJOR CAREER MOVE

In addition to the real estate shuffle, Stewart has announced a significant move in his music career.

The rock icon has joined forces with Iconic Artists Group, selling the rights to his extensive discography for a whopping $100 million (R1,891,849,000.00).

MUSIC LEGACY

With a career spanning six decades, Stewart expressed confidence in entrusting his life’s work and future musical legacy to his new partners.

As the curtains close on his touring era and his iconic mansion linger on the market, Rod Stewart continues to make headlines with his strategic moves, leaving fans and real estate enthusiasts alike eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the rock legend’s life.
