Marlon Wayans still open to do White Chicks 2

American actor and comedian Marlon Wayans says he is still open to doing White Chicks 2 if everything goes according to plan.

White Chicks has become a cult classic from the 2000s, with many quotable lines and memorable scenes which include Terry Crews.

During an episode of “Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, Marlons touched on the potential of making a sequel.

“If we do White Chicks, it gotta be me and Shawn… we’ll see. I don’t throw that into the universe because I don’t control it. But I would do a White Chicks 2. I think that, and I would return to the Scary Movie franchise,” Marlon said.

In White Chicks, Marlon and his brother Shawn Wayans portrayed agents named Marcus and Kevin Copeland who disguised themselves as a rich socialites named Brittany and Tiffany Wilson.

The film was released in 2004 and went on to gross $113 million from a budget of $37 million, making it a commercial success

White Chicks 2 might finally happen

Crews, who played Latrell Spencer, said a few years ago that the sequel was ‘happening’.

You know what, I actually got with Shawn, and he was like, ‘Man, we doing it, we getting it going,’” Crews shared.

Wayans, however, downplayed Crews’ statement, saying nothing had materialised yet and White Chicks was not a sure thing.

Marlon’s career took off in the 90s as he starred alongside his brother Shawn in a sitcom “The Wayans Bros.”

Since then he went on to star in a number of films including Scary Movie, Litte Man and White Chicks. His latest movies are the Haunted House, Fifty Shades of Black, and Naked.

White Chicks however remains his most successful film to date.
