Former Playboy bunny and model Kendra Wilkinson has candidly opened up about her mental health battle that hospitalised twice last year.

‘I WAS DYING OF DEPRESSION’

In an interview with People magazine Kendra opened up about her mental health battle. The former reality TV star shared how she thought she was going to die when she hit rock bottom.

“I was in a state of panic. I didn’t know what was going on in my head and my body or why I was crying. I had hit rock bottom”, Kendra expressed.

Kendra further recalls that she was “dying of depression”.

“I was dying of depression. I was hitting the end of my life, and I went into psychosis”, she recalled in the interview with the media outlet.

Looking back at her battle at her mental health, Kendra shares how it wasn’t easy trying to deal with the past traumas from her 20’s, further noting that she had to face her demons head-on.

“It’s not easy to look back at my 20s. I’ve had to face my demons”, she added.

KENDRA REFLECTS ON MENTAL HEALTH BATTLES

The former Playboy model also shared how the Playboy company messed up her whole life.

“Playboy really messed my whole life up”, Kendra explained.

She further shares how while at playboy she was at the lowest she’s ever been in her life, noting that she felt like she had no future.

“It was the lowest place I’ve ever been in my life. I felt like I had no future. I couldn’t see in front of my depression; I was giving up and I couldn’t find the light. I had no hope”.

Wilkinson continued: “I really got into deep regret [afterwards]… deep. I struggled with depression before and at the mansion. I drank a lot. I was there for the partying, OK, let’s just be real. I was not there for Hugh Hefner to be my boyfriend”.

The reality TV star also shared how difficult it was to accept that she was suffering with her mental health.

 “To accept medication was the hardest thing to do. It meant I had to accept that I have some mental illness, and I didn’t want to have to do that”, Kendra shared.
