HOW SADIO MANE AND HIS WIFE AISHA MET

The 31-year-old Senegalese footballer tied the knot with Aisha in a private ceremony that took place in Keur Massar, a district in Senegal’s capital city, Dakar, just a week before the Africa Cup of Nations’ commencement in Ivory Coast.

The couple met through Mane’s agent who was friends with Aisha’s dad when she was 16.

“My wife and Aisha visited their (Mane’s) family one day, and this is where he met her for the first time.

“We discussed as per the tradition, agreed on everything and waited for this day to happen,” Mane’s father-in-law said.

Although their marriage was arranged, Aisha’s father says that they did not force her into marrying the Al Nassr winger.
