Social media users had their tongues wagging after legendary Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo took to Instagram and posted photos with his teenage son at the gym as seen in his post on Thursday, 22 February.

Cristian Ronaldo and his son Cristiano Jr have been spending a lot of time in the gym and it shows! The father and son duo surprised social media users with photos showing off their defined muscles on Instagram.

“Today with my partner ❤️,” the seasoned footballer captioned the photos.

By 13 years old Ronaldo’s son was signed by Al Nassr, Sports Illustrated reported last year. Ronaldo Jr is also said to have spent two years in the Juventus youth system. At the time, his father played for Serie A. Ronaldo Jr is said to wear jersey number 7 at his new team,.

“My son tells me: ‘Dad, hold on a few more years, I want to play with you,'” the publication quoted the legendary footballer as having said.

The 39-year-old football star is undoubtedly one of the most experienced footballers. According to Bleacher Report, he has been a pro football player for 23 seasons and has racked up a remarkable 732 career goals across his competitions.

And when adding in his 127 career goals for the Portuguese national team, the legendary football player has reportedly scored a whopping 859 goals. It’s only a matter of time before the world sees how Ronaldo Jr’s career will compare to his father’s.
