In a new interview with actress Nia Long American rapper Jeezy has opened up about his divorce with media personality Jeannie Mai.

‘THIS HAS NOT BEEN AN EASY JOURNEY’
The hour-long conversation with Nia Long sees Jeezy detailing and opening up about various parts of his life. Jeezy speaks candidly about his divorce with Jeannie Mai, the molestation he experienced as a child as well as touching on the relationship he had with his estranged late mother.
In March 2021, Jeezy and Jeannie tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their home in Atlanta, Goergia. Just over two and a half years later in September of this year, Jeezy filed for divorce from Jeannie Mai. The pair cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce.
“As I sit here at 46 … I can’t honestly tell you that I’ve experienced love, especially not unconditional”, he told Nia during their interview.
The rapper continued: ” [This] has not been an easy journey. I can tell you that I’m sad. I can tell you that I’m disappointed. I can tell you that I’m uneasy”.

JEEZY FILES FOR DIVORCE
In October the Grammy nominated artist spoke out for this first time about ending his marriage to Jeannie Mai.
In a statement he shared that making the decision to leave his wife was not out of impulse.
“The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart. Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart”, he shared.
He continued: “Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship, and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves”.
