Handre Pollard is making headlines after he reported for duty at the Springbok World Cup camp in Paris on Monday after being called up as Malcolm Marx’s replacement.
After suffering a career-threatening injury, Malcolm Marx was ruled out of the World Cup.

However, in the backdrop of his injury, South Africa’s Director of Rugby, Rassie Erasmus, confirmed that Handre Pollard would join the rest of the squad.
South Africa’s Director of Rugby, Rassie Erasmus, said: “Handre has joined us, but he won’t come in (the selection mix) immediately unless we have injuries.”

Handre Pollard was not selected for the upcoming round three match against Ireland despite the call. However, despite being dropped, Mznasi was pleased to see him train with the rest of the squad.
The seasoned Fly-half has been making headlines after his video in action during the Springbok’s recent training made rounds.
