Springboks ‘saviour’ Handre Pollard is topping trends after his wife shared photos from the last two Rugby World Cups. Marise Pollard shared photos with Handre Pollard and RG with his wife.

The picture-perfect photos were from the ninth edition of the Rugby World Cup, which was held in Japan in 2019. The Springboks stars posed for a photo showing off their matching tattoos.

However, in the backdrop of their win over the weekend, the stars posed again for one of the coldest photos from the final. The tattoos are triangular and are just below the elbows.

They posed the same, and Marise Pollard captioned the post with ‘2023 & 2019.’

No doubt the post has since gained thousands of reactions and comments since it dropped. The now-viral photos have since thrust the two players into the top trends. Mzansi has since flooded her comments section with their two cents.

MAKING HISTORY

No doubt the Springboks’ win saw them going down in the history books of World Rugby as the second nation to win back-to-back World Cup finals. The Springboks won the ninth edition of the Rugby World Cup in Japan in 2019.

Against their win, they became the first team to win four Rugby World Cups.
