DJ Tira offers $1000 reward to find missing passport in Zimbabwe

Fans are scrambling to locate DJ Tira’s missing passport he misplaced in Zimbabwe earlier this month, after he offered a generous reward.

DJ Tira – real name Mthokozi Khathi – has appealed to his Zimbabwean fans to help him after losing his passport in the country.

The music mogul misplaced his travel document in the capital of Harare earlier this month.

DJ TIRA OFFERS A REWARD TO LOCATE PASSPORT

Taking to Facebook, DJ Tira appealed to fellow Zimbabweans to help him relocate his passport. He even threw in $1000 (over R17 000) to anyone who could return the document safely

He shared in a Facebook post: “As I previously stated I lost my passport while in Gwanda, Zimbabwe last week. I’m offering a reward of $1000 (USD) for anyone who will return my passport”.

The DJ and music producer initially performed at the Eyadini tavern in Gwanda, Harare on 9 July.

According to Bulawayo24, Tira returned to South Africa with the assistance of the embassy in the country. To the delight of his Zim fans, Tira returned to the neighbouring country to perform again in the country over the weekend.

FANS OFFER SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO DO

Unbeknownst to his Facebook followers of his return to SA, many tweeps offered advice on how to get home.

Some even suggested Tira relocate to Zimbabwe permanently!

Alex Stemela: “Are you still stuck in Zim? Just go and declare yourself an illegal immigrant. They will deport you”

Oliver Keith: “Why don’t you go to your consulate?”

Siachibila Irvin: “Just apply for Zim citizenship you will go get it!”

Foster Lebea: “There’s a free border Malume. Those that arrive here without a passport, they will show you”
