A praying mother: Canan Moodie’s mom gushes over him

Canan Moodie’s success in the rugby world is widely celebrated. People across the country were over the moon when the Blue Bulls player became the second youngest player to join South Africa’s national team, The Springboks. Canan, who is only 20, has been playing rugby since his primary school days and has a massive support system behind him — his mother Chantel and father Raymond.

Chantel has been showering her son with love and recently shared how God has been behind all of his success.

Canan Moodie’s mother Chantel and the power of praying

Most parents want nothing but the best for their children. Watching your child reach their goals and live their dreams is absolutely priceless.

Canan Moodie’s parents are currently experiencing this joy for their sun who just a week ago, became the second youngest Springbok squad member.

Judging by her many online posts, Chantel Moodie is over the moon.

When his Springbok announcement was just made, she headed to her Facebook page and revealed how Moodie always celebrated the Springbook lineup announcement.

“Whenever the World Cup team being announced Canan would watch with the flag over his shoulders and when they done he ran outside with the flag to celebrate the team,” she wrote.

She then went on to gush over the fact that now just a few years later, he has joined the team. She also praised God for the accomplishment while telling him to put God at the centre of everything.

“Let no one and nothing stands in your way to live your dreams. And put God at the centre of it all What God done for Canan He CAN and is able to do it for you Never stop praying for your kids and encourage and help them to bring out the best in them .Love you Canan,” she wrote.

Fans are loving it

Many love the fact that she is a Godly woman and applauded her for raising such a star. They also shared congratulatory messages with Canan who is already proving himself to be a valuable member of the team.

“Thats the result of a mother’s prayer for her child & to introduce him to Christ, knowing that God is the centre of it all. Job well done,” one person said while another added:

“Well said Chantel Demas Moodie..to God be the glory because He is the one that made all these things possible for your son..before he was formed in your womb God set out plans to prosper him so we give God all the honour..we celebrate with you nd your family..stay blessed”
