South Africans have not stopped buzzing about Nigerian artist Burna Boy — real name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR — and his rumoured struggles to fill up the FNB stadium. On Tuesday this week, Burna announced that the concert has been postponed. While a new date has been set for the event, South Africans have not stopped trolling the artist.

One X user even dug up and old tweet made by late rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes which many believe to be a jab at Burna Boy who was briefly “cancelled” by SA after he spoke out against xenophobia in the country.

AKA dragged into Burna Boy’s concert ‘failure’

Nigeria’s self-proclaimed African Giant surprised many on Tuesday this week after revealing that his South African concert has been postponed.

The On The Low hitmaker was set to “fill up the FNB stadium” on 23 September this year but has since moved the date to 16 December.

The announcement has led to a lot of rumours that the concert was moved due to low ticket sales.
