‘Proud of you’: Zandile on Kelly Khumalo amid Senzo Meyiwa trial

On Sunday, 13 August, Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandile Khumalo Gumede decided to take to her social media to congratulate her sister after she soar on stage in Sun City during her performance amid the controversy ongoing with the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial.

Kelly Khumalo performed at the Rusty Rock All For Woman Music Concert on Saturday, 12 August for the iconic Superbowl celebration. According to Sun International, the MCs for the evening were Somizi Mhlongo and Melodi Miya. Several musicians were part of the line-up including Zonke, Musa, Nomfundo Moh, disc jockeys Sphe and Naves, as well as Lerato Kganyago.

Recently, Zandile Khumalo Gumede admitted being proud of her sister as she gushed over her on her feed. She had all good things to say about her sister’s strength and resilience. Zandile showered Kelly with praise as she rallied behind her.

“If I had my way I would take it all away but how else would u get to be this strong and amazing……You can’t get to be this amazing on love only, a bit of hate here and there is needed. You went out there last night and conquered where some would have crumbled. I’m proud of you ❤️,” Zandile wrote on Instagram.

THE LATEST WITH THE SENZO MEYIWA TRIAL

With the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa trial, it’s almost impossible for Kelly’s name not to be mentioned. As the trial continues to unravel, the Bazokhuluma hitmaker has been dropped from several line-ups including the Maseru Park Festival, IOL reported.

And recently, in a startling turn of events, Kelly’s mother, Ntombi ‘Makhumalo’ Khumalo has been accused of tampering with evidence from Meyiwa’s crime scene, iHarare reported.
