TITANIC SUB FIVE CONFIRMED DEAD

Speaking in a press briefing on Thursday, First Guard District Commander Admiral John Mauger confirmed the deaths of the five men.

This, after rescue efforts, discovered a “debris field” from the Titan sub near the Titanic shipwreck. He said: “This is an incredibly unforgiving environment down there on the sea floor, and the debris is consistent with a catastrophic implosion of the vessel.

SA UNMOVED BY TRAGEDY

EFF’s Mbuyiseni Ndlozi slammed the hype surrounding the viral story, comparing it the lesser-known experience of four children who had been found in the Amazon jungle after going missing for 40 days.

He tweeted: “We are told four rich men took a trip to the belly of the ocean, in a tourist curiosity over the 111-year sunk wreckage of the glorious Titanic. They, with all their riches, did not survive 12 hours, maybe even a little less.

“But such is life & its tragic contradictions! A voyage to an ocean site that houses the valley of death, the gravesite of a titan ship… a ship of death, ended in nothing less than its century-old tragic death!

Mbuyiseni also compared the Titanic tragedy to reports to African migrants who had drowned af

He continued: “Well, in keeping with the humanity, the rich western powers seek to obliterate everywhere in the world… we must insist that may their rich selves rest in the oceans, in those deep waters that swallowed over 1000 lives more than a century ago”.

Black First, Land First President Andile Mngxitama also weighed into the Titanic sub-story, tweeting: “What’s the noise about the five whites and the spaza mini-sub?

“Blacks die in great numbers trying to flee from the poverty caused by Europe, and there is no noise.”

And Kaya FM presenter Sizwe Dhlomo posted: “It’s all water under the bridge now.”
