Fans of actress Mbalenhle ‘Mbali’ Mavimbela, who played Hlomu Zulu in ‘The Wife’ congratulated her after noticing her new last name Masikane.

IS MBALI MAVIMBELA MRS MASIKANE?
Rumours of The Wife actress Mbali Mavimbela being married began when entertainment commentator Phil Mphela announced her as Mbalenhle Masikane as a nominee for the 2023 Simon Sabela KZN Film and Television Awards.
Mphela revealed that the actress was nominated in Best TV Actress category alongside The Estate Jo-Anne Reyneke, Durban Gen actress Nelisiwe Sibiya and Uzalo actress Nompilo Maphumulo.
The entertainment commentator wrote: “Mbalenhle Masikane (Mavimbela)” which led to fans of the actress to believe that she secretly tied the knot.

ACTRESS CLOSE TO MAKING FIRST MILLION
The actress Mbalenhle “Mbali” Mavimbela, who played Hlomu Zulu in The Wife seasons one to three previously revealed that she’s close to becoming a millionaire on Kaya 959 Breakfast.
Dineo: “We are talking about being a millionaire. Have you made your first million?” Mbali: “I still have a chance to become a millionaire, I haven’t made my first million, maybe next year. I think I very am close.”
Sol: “Good, I am sure the show is paying max there by The Wife.”
Mavimbela also discussed her plans for the future and revealed that she could not study film and television as she didn’t have funds.
“I made sure that I hung out with the drama students because I didn’t have the funds to study film and television.”
