From Paarl to Paris! The families of Springboks players Canan Moodie, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Grant Williams celebrated the team’s win together.

It was an extra special occasion for the Paarl families of Canan Moodie, Kurt-Lee Arendse, and Grant Williams, who celebrated the Springboks’ victory against Romania together.

The trio of friends from the Western Cape province were all selected in the squad that played in Bordeaux on Sunday. 

South Africa beat Romania 76-0 in the explosive game.

PAARL FAMILIES CELEBRATE TOGETHER

In a heartwarming social media post, the families of Canan Moodie, Kurt-Lee Arendse, and Grant Williams shared pictures of their celebrations together during the Springboks vs Romania game.

Donning green and old, the loved ones came together to show their love and support to their star rugby players, who are playing in the Rugby World Cup for the first time.

All three players hail from Paarl in the Western Cape. While Canan is the squad’s youngest member, Kurt-Lee and Grant are childhood friends are shared the same passions.

The Springboks will play their next match in the Rugby World Cup against Ireland on Saturday, 23 September.
