Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus opened up about his nerves as seen in an X (formally known as Twitter) post shared on Saturday, 28 October – meanwhile, his rugby team will be playing their final Rugby World Cup tournament in a few hours (21:00).

‘DON’T WORRY’: SPRINGBOKS COACH RASSIE ERASMUS NERVOUS?

It has indeed been a rather hectic week for the Springboks with the controversy that surrounded their hooker Bongi Mbonambi and of course the immense pressure that comes with preparing for the Rugby World Cup. To top it off, the Springboks and their final opponents, the All Black will not only be competing to win the cup but to also make history as the fourth-time champions of the tournament. It’s no wonder the Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus is feeling the jitters.

“This time of the night is normally when I wake up, but [with] all the nervous[ness], etc, I am actually trying to sleep now! [It’s] going to be such a lekka game,” he said.
