MABLERH TO HOST ‘REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DURBAN’ REUNION

The season three Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) reunion will air in two parts on 3 and 10 May. Showmax announced that media personality MaBlerh will be the host.

“During the finale, the ladies drew a line in the sand regarding their friendships. On the one side, Nonku and Jojo have made it clear that they are okay with moving on with their friendship without the other ladies. On the other side, Annie, Slee, Sorisha, Maria and sometimes Sane have formed a friendship that is separate from the two ladies,” according to Showmax.

“Mbali has tried to stay on the fence, avoiding taking a stance on the ‘team’ she’s in. In the final scene of Season three, apologies were made but the ‘last supper’ confrontation between Nonku and Slee is what sparked the most conversations online,” according to Showmax.

Slee only joined RHOD on season three. So, she was one of the three “newbies” and fans seemed to love Slee. She did however, lose her cool on the season finale of the series and woke up to throw hands at Nonku Williams.

So, here’s five things to know about the star who set tongues wagging the most following the season finale.

FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SLEE

1. SHE WAS PREVIOUSLY IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH EX-AMAZULU BOSS SANDILE ZUNGU

slee opened up about her ex-boyfriend Amazulu boss Sandile Zungu on the show.

“My ex and I had been together for six years. When the break up came it was a shock for me and then three months later he was married to someone else, which then in hindsight tells me it was just a plot,” she said in a confessional.

“To be honest I’ve got good days and I’ve got very bad days,” she said to Nonku.

“I sometimes do miss him. Because in all honesty, I have invested a lot my time, my expertise, everything. Everything that I am into that man, to an extent that I even left my kids behind to be with him,” she continued.

3. SLEE  HAS A SPIRITUAL GIFT

On the first episode of season three of the Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD), Slee revealed that she has a spiritual gift.

“My ancestors came to me in the form of dreams and visions,” she said.

4. SHE IS A HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTANT AND BUSINESSWOMAN

Showmax revealed that Slee is a human resource consultant by qualification with experience in events management and interior design. She is also the founder of events company Mawesi Consulting.

“I am also a businesswoman. I’m definitely a shapeshifter. It’s imperative that a woman makes her own money,” she said on the first episode of the show.

5. SHE WANTS TO ‘START OVER’ ON ‘REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DURBAN’

After coming out of a six-year relationship Slee decided to start over by trying out RHOD.

“For me, this is an avenue to start all over and rebuild not only as an individual but also as a single mother. I come from a six-year relationship, which I feel I wasted my time and energy in. I gave it my all, so when that didn’t work out, I thought, ‘Why not? Let me try this.’ This platform grants you the chance to promote and rebrand, especially when you’re coming from a place of starting over again,” she said in a statement according to Showmax.
