Prince Harry, Meghan were ‘looking for reasons to be unhappy’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly already ‘deeply unhappy’ even before seeing the photo of the late Queen and her heirs.

PRINCE HARRY, MEGHAN WERE ‘LOOKING FOR REASONS TO BE UNHAPPY’
Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry reportedly already felt “there were conspiracies within the institution” when they saw the photograph that allegedly led to them quitting their royal duties.
However, a royal reporter claims that the pair were already “deeply unhappy”.
“It seems at that time they were very likely looking for reasons to be more unhappy than what they already were in the royal family,” said a royal commentator during an appearance on Erin on Friday, according to Sky News.
“In the New Year they saw this photo which sent to them quite a strong message, which was: the monarchy exists with or without you. They were already deeply unhappy within the institution. That was a feeling they already had that there were conspiracies within the institution,” the reporter continued.

Andrew Morton , the author of unauthorised biography Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, claimed that a photo of the late Queen Elizabeth II and her heirs was the last straw for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Morton claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to quit their duties as senior working members of the royal family after seeing the photo of Queen Elizabeth II with the now King Charles, Prince William and Prince George.
The photo was released in 2020 and taken in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace.
“The royal couple suspected that the entire institution was conspiring against them. As they saw it, the evidence was all around them. The unspoken code was straightforward: the future of the monarchy was assured, with or without Meghan and Harry,” wrote Morton in the book.
