Moja Love: Jub Jub must apologise to Kelly or never return to ‘Uyajola 9/9’

Moja Love has given Jub Jub an ultimatum to either apologise to Kelly Khumalo for calling her a witch or never return to ‘Uyajola 99’.

Uyajola 9/9 TV host Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye has been ordered to apologise to Kelly Khumalo by Moja Love founder Aubrey Tau.  

This is after the musician called the mother of his child a witch on Podcast and Chill with MacG.

MOJA LOVE TO JUB JUB: ‘APOLOGISE TO KELLY KHUMALO’  

Musician and Uyajola 9/9 TV personality Jub Jub has been given an ultimatum by Moja Love to either apologise to Kelly Khumalo or never return to the Moja Love screen.  

The channel gave him an ultimatum after he approached the channel to ask for his job back.  

The founder of the channel Aubrey Tau told City Press that they’ve communicated with his legal representatives and gave him the conditions.  

“We’ve given Jub Jub an ultimatum to apologise to Kelly Khumalo for calling her a witch, among other things, during the [YouTube podcaster] MacG interview.”

“Listening to the podcast, I believe he was out of order and I don’t like working with ill-disciplined people.”

“They can tell you that. That’s my personality.”  

He’s reportedly reached an agreement with his ex-girlfriend Amanda Du-Pont to drop their planned legal cases against each other.  

He was suspended from Uyajola 9/9 after the Skeem Saam actress accused him of sexually assaulting her during their two-year relationship.

PODCAST AND CHILL INTERVIEW: ‘KELLY IS A WITCH’  

Molemo Maarohanye made headlines in 2021 when he accused Kelly Khumalo of practicing witchcraft and using muti on him during their relationship in an interview on Podcast and Chill.  

He got suspended after the interview and when he asked for his job back Tau said he needed to show remorse for his comment about Kelly Khumalo  

Tau tells the publication that he suspended Molemo Maarohanye with immediate effect last year for his wrong and hurtful comments.

“His ill-advised remarks have reached the highest level of decision-makers in this industry.  

“He needs to apologise to Kelly Khumalo and three different organisations for the comments.”

“He should also undergo sensitivity training.”   

“We’re trying to assist him so that he can redeem himself.”

“He needs to reflect and learn about the impacts of his comments.”

“His image has been tainted; that’s the bottom line, said Tau. ” 

Tau also says Moja Love and Siyaya organisation stands in solidarity with the women who’ve been abused.
