‘The Kardashians’: Khloe defends her family’s nine-figure paycheck

Khloe Kardashian defended her family’s apparent nine-figure paycheck for their new show ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu.

American reality star Khloe Kardashian defended her family’s nine-figure paycheck and revealed that each family will get paid the same amount for their new show on Hulu titled The Kardashians – in Variety’s cover story on 9 March. 


The ladies were featured on Variety’s cover story as their new show on Hulu draws closer. The show will premiere on 14 April. 

Insiders say that the Kardashians and Jenners are expected to receive a nine-figure paycheck for the Hulu series. Without revealing the amount, Khloe how much she and her family received saying they give away a substantial amount of their personal lives.

“We give so much of our personal lives up for entertainment,” she said to Variety.

“We always have our private family conversations, and we’re pretty brutal, me and my sisters, with what we will settle for or not settle for,” she continued.

“Not all money is good money. It has to be a good fit, and Hulu was just the perfect fit for us,” she added. 

The Good American founder also revealed that all family members will be making the amount on the show.

“We are all equals,” she said.

Kris Jenner says  money always matters when she spoke about the move from E! To Hulu. She went on to say that anyone would be foolish to think money didn’t matter. The former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added that they had options but chose Hulu.

“Well, money always matters. I think that anybody would be foolish to say that money doesn’t matter anymore,” she said.

“We had options for sure, but I’m not one to kiss and tell,” she continued.

Hulu is owned by Walt Disney and the chairman of entertainment said that the Kardashians (and Jenners) were a perfect fit for an unscripted slate.

“We stepped up to a great deal that they very much deserve,” Dana Walden, Walt Disney Television’s chairman of entertainment, told the publication.

“Who would you want more for your unscripted slate than the Kardashians? They perfectly symbolize our strategy, which is taking big shots, but the right shots, and betting on incredible talent and best-in-class opportunities in each genre,” she continued.
