Scared? England TikToker backtracks on Eben Etzebeth diss [watch]

Just days after claiming that “Eben Etzebeth can’t handle the smoke,” trash-talking Tiktoker and England rugby fan Kieran Williams has backpedaled on his comments about the Springbok player.

The video creator – who has riled up thousands of South Africans with his commentary – backtracked on his earlier claims just hours after the Boks beat England in their Rugby World Cup semi-final game.

TIKTOKER BACKTRACKS, CALLS EBEN ETZEBETH ‘GREATEST PLAYER’

In his latest TikTok video, Kieran Williams seemingly folded on his claims about Eben Etzebeth.

He said: “I am not calling out one of the greatest players to ever play the game.  In fact, the other day, I said he was the greatest forward to ever step on the pitch”.

Kieran insisted that he wants to meet Eben – on friendly terms.

He continued: “It would be an absolute honor. In fact, I do not have anything against him.

“I have nothing but respect, and he is an absolute legend of the game. I do not want to scrap with Eben Etzebeth”.

Naturally, the comments were filled with Springboks supporters who called him out on his BS. Here are a few…

‘HE CAN’T HANDLE THE SMOKE’

In a viral TikTok video earlier this week, Kieran Williams expressed his disdain for the Springboks, the defending Rugby World Cup champions.

He even went as far as to accuse the SA team of cheating and having the referee rule in their favour. But the brazen young man took it a step further when he called out player Eben Etzebeth for his head-on-head collision with a French player.

In the comments section, an account seemingly belonging to Eben responded to Williams’s shady comments.

It read: “Well, you said it. At least we are always humble to ourselves and our fellow South Africans. Thanks for supporting our team.”

In a follow-up TikTok video, Kieran Williams demanded a face-to-face meeting with the towering Springbok star.

He brazenly said: “Eben Etzebeth does not want the smoke.” He then called for Etzebeth to have a table discussion with him about rugby

“Gloves are off, face to face…I want Eben Etzebeth on one side and me on the other. I want us to have a conversation about rugby”.

Williams added: “Kieran 10, South Africa 0”.
