On Friday, 1 September, seasoned actress Bawinile ‘Winnie’ Ntshaba decided to mark her 48th birthday by naming some of the people she was most grateful for via an Instagram post.

The former Generations actress may have lost some close people in her life, however, she still has a wonderful support system that she can always lean on and count on. She lost her mother in 2017 and her father in 2021, and also split from her husband back in 2013, Sunday World reported.

As she turned one year older this year, Ntshaba took to her feed and shared that she had recently attended a prayer session that spoke directly to her heart.

“GOD… Today I just want to thank you for another year added to my life. This morning I was part of the @rorisangt prayer session and the Word ministered today spoke directly to my spirit…. God is for me in all situations. I need to just tag him along, in all seasons God is on my side. What a blessed reassuring Word that even as I turn a year older He is still on my side,” she wrote.

The House of Zwide star gushed over two of her close friends as she shared that she couldn’t stop thinking about their meaningful contributions to her life.

“I got a call from @lillian.dube, her words are still echoing in my mind. I love you mama❤️❤️. Then @mpumsltd sent a message that brought me to tears that my name Bawinile means I make even those around me Win that’s why I’m not Winile… he says the mandate is not about me but those around me,” she wrote.

“God thank you for all the people in my life but most importantly thank you for the peace you have given me. Happy birthday to ME🎁❤️🍾🥂🎂❤️ HAPPY SPRING DAY‼️” the actress added.
