Former ‘RHOD’ star Ayanda Ncwane reveals her Nigerian name

Media personality Ayanda Ncwane, who recently hosted the Africa Choice Awards in Nigeria, revealed she was given a new name in the country.

Former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Ayanda Ncwane, revealed that she was given a new name by the people of Nigeria after she jetted off to the country to host the Africa Choice Awards with Ghanaian actor and producer Eddie Samuel Obong Watson on 15 January.

AYANDA NCWANE REVEALS HER NEW NIGERIAN NAME

Ayanda is known for her killer fashion sense and she never ceases to amaze us. As a style icon, she undoubtedly works hard to maintain her style goals. The stunning media personality turned heads as she changed into several breath-taking outfits for the awards ceremony held on 15 January, and they all looked exquisite.

Taking to her Instagram account, Ayanda revealed that she did not only host the awards and bagged an award but she was also given a new name in Nigeria.

She shared that her name is Amaka. Ayanda’s new name seemed to catch everyone’s attention and social media users couldn’t stop gushing about it, while others speculated that she has a new Nigerian lover.

“So while I was hosting @africachoiceawards the beautiful audience gave me a new name, AMAKA, and insisted I’m an Igbo Lolo,” she wrote. 

In a separate Instagram post, the businessman celebrated her big win. This is after she bagged an award for Female TV Star.

“Category is….WINNING, To God, be the Glory. #WondersWithoutNumber thank you to @africachoiceawards ☺️. We came, we hosted, we won & we showed up in fabulosity ☺️. Ain’t God great?” she captioned the post.

AYANDA NEVER STOPS WINNING

The businesswoman has been making boss moves lately, and we love it. In 2022, she won the Positive Impact Music Award and the Best Dressed Award at the Clima Africa Awards. Taking to her Instagram account to celebrate the exciting news she wrote “To God be Glory. Last night we WON 2 awards in Nigeria at the @climamagazine_awards at the WONDERS WITHOUT NUMBER!!!” Ncwane wrote on Instagram.

In a video uploaded via the awards page, Ayanda expressed her gratitude to the awards for honoring her.

“Thanks so much, Clima Africa Awards. I’d like to give honor and glory to God Almighty. Tonight is the biggest night in the music industry, of course, the Gospel Music Industry. Thank you for the awards that I’ve received tonight and I don’t take it for granted,” she said in her acceptance speech.
