Actress Amanda du Pont says musician and TV host Jub Jub sexually assaulted her in the presence of her young sisters.
The details pertaining to the alleged incidents are contained in the former Skeem Saam actress’ police statement she made in November 2022, according to Sunday World.

AMANDA DU-PONT DETAILS ALLEGED RAPE AT HANDS OF JUB JUB
The former celebrity couple dated almost two decades ago. According to Amanda, the first incident took place at her Auckland Park apartment in 2007 after she told him she was saving herself for marriage.
In her statement, the actress alleged that the Uyajola 9/9 host raped her several other times and choked her in another occasion. After another incident, she reportedly ran out and returned with a male friend to find the presenter swimming in the pool at her complex. Amanda alleges that the unremorseful rapper laughed at her and said he told her he would get her.

In another alleged rape incident, Amanda told the police that her younger sisters were in the same room. She said one was sleeping on the floor while the youngest, who was 11 years old at the time, was in the same bed as her and Jub Jub.
The TV personality alleged that the abuse did not end there as it continued when they moved in together in 2008. She said the rapper continued to allegedly rape her in her sisters’ presence.

CASE POSTPONED TO NOVEMBER
On 24 August, the musician made a brief appearance at the Johannesburg magistrate’s court where it was revealed that he now faces more charges.
When he handed himself over to the Brixton police station earlier this month, the TV presenter was charged with three counts of rape, two counts of attempted murder, and assault.
“He is facing 13 counts ranging from multiple counts of rape, indecent assault, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and several counts of kidnapping,” National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane said.

His lawyer, Ntsako Baloyi, requested for the case to be postponed to 8 November.
According to the SowetanLIVE, there are four complaints in the case. These are: Amanda; songtress, Kelly Khumalo; and Radio and TV host, Masechaba Khumalo. The fourth woman is believed to be a relative of the musician.
