Benni McCarthy’s coaching career may be up in the air after parting ways with AmaZulu earlier this year, but one thing he is confident about is his love for wife Stacey.
The striking couple celebrated eight years of marriage this week after tying the knot on 24 May 2014.

Benni McCarthy and Stacey – a Scottish model – wed in Edinburgh in a soccer-themed ceremony.
The former Bafana Bafana player wore a kilt and knee-high socks as he said “I do” to his blonde bombshell partner. Benni honoured his love of football with tables named in honour of soccer clubs he’s played in: Seven Stars, Orlando Pirates and FC Porto.
Following the reception, guests watched a fireworks display set to the beat of Benni’s song, Shibobo with local kwaito group TKZee.
Fast-forward eight years and the couple now have two children: 10-year-old daughter Lima and two-year-old son Lio. Benni McCarthy is also dad to three other daughters: Mina, Mya, and Allegra with Spanish ex-wife Maria Santos.
Benni McCarthy married Maria in 2004 but split in 2007 after he claimed she refused to relocate with him. He told Sunday Times: “We got divorced during my second year at Blackburn Rovers, in 2007. She did not really want to leave Spain and it became a problem.
He added: “Spanish people are not good travellers and they never want to leave Spain. Even the players leave for one season and they want to go back home.”
SECOND TIME AROUND WITH STACEY
Whilst Benni McCarthy is tipped to be the next Orlando Pirates coach, his wife and children live in their family home in Scotland. They also regularly visit Cape Town, where Benni’s mother lives.
Stacy often posts appreciation posts to her husband, whom she calls “the love of my life”. She also shares pics of pricey presents from him, like flowers, desigenr handbags and holidays abroad
