‘My dear mother suffered’: Carl Niehaus announces mom’s death
Former ANC member Carl Niehaus is mourning his mother Magrietha ‘Maxie’ Niehaus, who passed away on Friday evening, 20 October.

Former ANC member Carl Niehaus took to his social media account on Saturday, 21 October to confirm his mother’s passing.

CARL NIEHAUS: ‘MY DEAR MOTHER SUFFERED’
The controversial politician Carl Niehaus revealed on X that his mother, Magrietha ‘Maxie’ Niehaus (né Arlow) passed away on Friday evening, 20 October at 94 years.
“It is with a broken heart that I inform all my comrades and friends that my beloved Mamma, Magrietha ‘Maxie’ Niehaus (né Arlow), passed away at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 7 days, last night at 23:00”.
Niehaus added that his mother suffered in her last days and added that he’s heartbroken.
“My dear Mother suffered much, may her beautiful soul Rest In Peace. I am heartbroken. Please, let my family and me mourn our deep loss in dignity and peace. For my beloved sister and me to lose our mother leaves an everlasting void”.
The South African will reveal memorial service and funeral details soon.

South Africans took to social media on Saturday morning to pay tribute to the mother of the former ANC anti-apartheid activist and ARETA Leader, Carl Niehaus.
