According to the publication, in an extraordinary and unexpected turn of events, the woman, Prudence Skhosana, went to KFC at the Moutsiya shopping centre, where she walked out with not only her order but with her bundle of joy.

Dorah Kotelo, an Emergency Medical Services Station Manager, had reportedly just parked outside when, in a surprising twist of events, she was summoned to help a woman in labour inside the fried chicken outlet.

Her training is said to have sprung into action as she helped deliver the newborn baby girl without any complications before driving Skhosana and the baby to Philadelphia Hospital.

“Every pregnant woman is informed of their expectancy date and advised not to travel during those days. We are also advising that when labour pains start, let’s not wait until they are severe. By then, it might be too late,” the Limpopo Department of Health MEC, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, was quoted as saying.

Harland Sanders. And the catch, you might ask,… well, it’s reported that the newborn baby had to be the first Harland born in America on 9 September of that year.
