Mike Tyson has turned his infamous boxing controversy into a marketing gimmick with the launch of his new marijuana edibles – in the shape of an ear!

The former boxer – who notoriously bit the ear off of rival Evander Holyfield during a 1997 WBA Heavyweight Championship fight – has debuted the cannabis-infused gummies to public acclaim.

MIKE TYSON LAUNCHES ‘MIKE BITES’

This week the former heavyweight title holder released his edibles – hilariously called “Mike Bites” via his cannabis company Tyson 2.0.

“These ears actually taste good!”  he tweeted about his new product.

Playing on his opponent’s name, the company tweeted :”Holy ears! They’re finally here”.

Tyson’s company has launched several cannabis-related ventures in recent years. In 2021, the company expanded the sale of its products to over 100 new stores in the US.

R600K A MONTH ON MARIJUANA

Mike Tyson is no stranger to hallucinogens. The 55-year-old father of seven once credited the venom from a Sonoran Desert Toad for helping him destress and lose almost 50kgs.

When it comes to marijuana, Tyson revealed in 2019 that he spends a whopping $40 000 (R594 000) a month on the drug.

The star athlete also owns a 40-acre cannabis ranch, which he opened in 2018 after California legalized recreational marijuana.
