‘Psstt’: McDonald’s launches wedding package

McDonalds proved to be evolving as they announced their launch of wedding packages via an Instagram post shared on 27 June.

In an Instagram post shared on 27 June, McDonald’s Indonesia launched wedding packages. The fast food outlet now offers a new and convenient option for people getting married.

MCDONALD’S LAUNCHES WEDDING MEKEDI PACKAGE

During one’s wedding, all kinds of things can go wrong, from tailoring to decorations and more. Indonesia is a splendid location for one to host a destination wedding too. From Bali, Japan, and Malaysia, the list is endless. This is probably why McDonald’s in Indonesia launched the Wedding Mekdi package.

In a post shared on their Instagram page, McDonald’s Indonesia offered its wedding package which includes 100 chicken burgers and 100 boxes of Mc Nuggets, or an option of 100 cheeseburgers and 100 chicken fingers—all of which are available for IDR 3.5m (an estimated R4 500).

“McD’ers, let’s make your wedding moment more memorable with the Wedding Mekdi package! Only IDR 3.5 million you can get 100 pcs Chicken Burger & 100 McNuggets packages containing 4 pcs l,” the post read.

“There are various other attractive package options available with a minimum order of 200 pcs. Psstt… You can ask for a food stall too! It’s time to make unforgettable moments with McDonald’s,” the fast food outlet’s post added.

WHAT ABOUT THE FOOD OUTLET IN SOUTH AFRICA?

Meanwhile, McDonald’s in South Africa has also proved to care for its clients in more ways than one. Not only does it serve such delicious fast food, but Earlier this year, they launched what is called Together Mzansi which is a national building initiative. According to My Broadband, the South African food outlet’s CEO, Greg Solomon said the initiative aims to make a difference in people’s lives.

One of the things the Together Mzansi initiative is aims to tackle includes assisting families to live comfortably by providing them with accommodation, meals, and compassion, especially for hospitalised children living with illnesses.

The fast food outlet was reported to have already contributed to the KwaZulu Natal flood relief through its partnership with Gift of the Givers as well as the Gugu Dlamini Foundation.
