R2.6 million Lotto winner shares winning formula

A self-employed, KwaZulu-Natal man, who won R2.6 million Lotto on Wednesday, 20 September shares his winning formula.

The KwaZulu-Natal resident, who recently bagged R2.6 million says he plays the lottery once a week.

MAN BAGS R2.6 MILLION

Ithuba reports that the man who won R2.6 million in the Ithuba National Lottery on Wednesday, 20 September spent R120 on the quick pick ticket.

“It is with great pleasure that ITHUBA, the proud operator of the National Lottery, announces that a regular LOTTO and Powerball player has claimed his first big win.”

“The self-employed KZN resident spent R120 on the quick-pick ticket that netted him R2 612 204,20 in draw 2370 on 20 September 2023.”

The recent South African millionaire reveals that he immediately informed his wife after winning and “always hoped” he would strike it lucky.

He also says he plays every week, once a week, and never spends more than R160 on a ticket.

WHAT HE PLANS TO DO WITH LOTTO MONEY

The man who is already a contributor to charitable causes will also share some of his R2.6 million winnings with those less fortunate.

The businessman intends to keep on working and will continue to phanda, pusha and play.

Charmaine Mabuza, CEO of ITHUBA, says that every big win is a cause for celebration.
